SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS/ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

A. Academic Scholarship Program

100% Tuition Fee Discount

• Granted to pupils/students of SMA Carmen who finished the previous school year as Top 1 of each grade level (Grade 1 – 10)

• Granted to incoming Grade 7 students who graduated as Valedictorian or Top 1 of the graduating class with at least 100 graduates. Applicants for this scholarship must present a certification from the previous school attended.

50% Tuition Fee Discount

• Granted to pupils/students of SMA Carmen who finished the previous school year as Top 2 of each grade level (Grade 1 – 10)

• Granted to incoming Grade 7 students who graduated as Salutatorian or Top 2 of the graduating class with at least 100 graduates. Applicants for this scholarship must present a certification from the Principal of the previous school attended.

30% Tuition Fee Discount

• Granted to pupils/students of SMA Carmen who finished the previous school year as Top 3 of each grade level (Grade 1 – 10)

• Granted to incoming Grade 7 students who graduated as Top 3 of the graduating class with at least 100 graduates. Applicants for this scholarship must present a certification from the Principal of the previous school attended.

B. Scholarship Grants to the Children of Tenured Faculty and Staff

The children of the tenured SMAC Personnel may enjoy scholarship grants as long as they reach a certain criteria and upon availability of funds.

C. Government Subsidy (ESC Grant)

The Educational Service Contract (ESC) Grant contracted out by the Department of Education to the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), which is the trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE). The ESC grants are given to the incoming Grade 7 students upon recommendation of the screening committee.

D. Other Tuition Fee Discounts

5% tuition fee discount is granted to the youngest child among 3 or more siblings presently enrolled in SMA Carmen.
